    Any advice on where to live? work pay for travel so think id rather move far out and get a nicer place and get the overheads to work

    there's a question. How long do you want your commute to be? I live in Romford, 27ish mins away on the slow train. It wouldn't be the nicest but suits us perfectly (far enough out to always get a seat in the morning, not quite far enough to be sound asleep on the way home). Nicer areas a little further out would be Gidea Park and Brentwood.

    People commute in from places like Southend and Colchester to Liverpool St, so there are quite a lot of options.
