Get it through the nct retest next Saturday. Give it frequent services. Hope she's trouble free. Hope if she has issues it's a diy job.

Right. I'll make this hopefully less ambitious :pac:

C220 DIESEL: insert OM606 with a compound turbo setup, hydro and keep stock looking (within reason)

    Diffy: to be sold

Jag: sort the coolant leak, facelift grille, bit of exhaust work, cat emblem on the bonnet, new tyres, NCT it, insure it and make it a fab weekend car :)

535i: get its much needed rad, sort out the electrical tat and tyres for some serious work/fun

525i: get roadworthy for this year (well, try to)

    156: finish it off!

Other plans: bin most of the Alfa stuff, strip the other donor Mercs, sell the polol, renovate parking spots

    -Refurb Style 66
    -Repair Rust on Boot
    -Steering Wheel Retrim(Maybe)
    -Repair Front Bumper

    Tax it.
    Fill with petrol.
Horse it up molls gap as often as possible.
New tyres X 4 will be inevitable I suppose.

    406:
Get a new turbo on, sort a leaky injector, 4 new tyres, engine will be out again, continuing on from dgt :pac:
Put a new nct on it before I insure it again.

    Xantia:
This won't be sold, but may have to go into hiding when I insure the 406 :(

    C200:
C200 needs a new driveshaft, centre bearing, exhaust needs fixing up, but that car will be reserved for fun use anyway :P

    E60 2.5 petrol -

Car is sorted - no small amount of cash spent on it this year. Unfortunately, the plan is to drive it sparingly, as I can easily walk to work with the new job.

Unless we change location, will not be taxing her and will just run the guantlet at weekends.

Maybe two new front tyres, but unlikely given above.

    Golf
-rear brake pads (will be done by the end of the week bought and all)
    -2 services
    -2 tyres (probably in March)
    -change gearbox oil
    -change brake fluid
-fix or disconnect damn noisy headlight motor
-Id like a centre arm rest but seems like a lot of work

If that's all I end up having to do to it it will be a good year.

Are everyone's cars here wrecked on the forum? That's the problem have to keep ahead on maintainance. Pump cash in every month and spend 1 weekend a month fixing it. Good reason to only own one or two cars. My plans are to sort my Merc 500sec out
Dye leather and reinstall interior and cleaned carpets
    Change rusty sunroof cassette
    Fit new brake discs
    Service
    Fix minor body rust
    Nct
    Drive it!

On my 12 year old Tt have everything just about as new except
    Have front resprayed
    Roof redyed
Change timing belt water pump and rear shocks, gearbox oil
I have the parts for everything just waiting for weather to turn ,could be awhile!

    A6:

    - Tyres when needed
    - Service mid-year/autumn (as it's only been done recently)
    - Tax
    - Might get the rear windows tinted
    - Spare 18" alloy of same type as the rest
    - Would like to get the OEM Bluetooth for it but I gather it's a fairly massive job to get fitted :(
    - NCT now annual so get that done next Sep-Jan

If I get a new job however...

    - Do all the above
    - Or sell it and replace with a facelift version, or an 08+ A8 if I can get equivalent specs

No real plans for the 740, has everything I need. First NCT in my ownership this year, be interesting to see how it fares.

    Eunos Roadster

    Thermostat replacement
Passenger window motor fix (have the tools, been putting that on the long finger)
Buy a hardtop, possibly a new softtop too
    Buy coilovers
Make myself up a SS exhaust and have someone else make my up a manifold because NA stuff is a black magic.
Sort out the patches of rust
Few little body work touches need doing

I myself will be 25 in October and I will then insure it as a classic

Save up for cams and throttle bodies, have it properly mapped on a dyno by someone that knows what they're doing.

This is all depending on if I can secure a real job this year, at least I'm a qualified welder now so I have a better hope.
