Lovely, apart from the fact, that the wheels don't match.

They had the frame in that very colour in Cyclogical.

I don't know, all I can see is a bit of a wheel. How are you viewing this? Have you access to a cinema?

They are just Chinese full carbon clinchers (Carbonzone) that have been rebuilt.

There's nothing you could add or take away from that bike to improve it.
    (It's perfect :))

Valves should be in same position

Crank should be at the right o'clock

    Skewers aligned too

    Lol

It's an awesome build. What's the saddle btw.

Is it wrong to ask how much a build like that costs?

Would be nice to know just how far away from something decent I really am!

If you shop around during sales you can get it from 2.2 to 2.5. (add more if you want a power meter)

As it stands its probably cost around 3.2k. I've was in hospital for a while and have been off the bike for the last 5 months so I have had time to pick up bits and pieces at good prices. The frame was from Westbrook and I got it at a great price.

Its got a Di2 groupset with a Power2max crank, Fizik Kurve saddle and Ritchey wcs carbon bars.

I only got the all clear from the doctor last week and didn't want to build it up before as I would be too tempted to go out on it.

Well wear so! Sounds like you deserve a bit of luck.

That bike really is a looker and it's even better looking in the flesh, judge in my other ones I've seen.

Clog have you got a link to that frameset?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,100 ✭✭✭clog

Thanks for the replies I've got the bike hanging on the wall at the moment awaiting better weather !.

The frame was the black version of one of these. http://www.westbrookcycles.co.uk/scott-foil-15-di2-aero-road-frameset-2012-with-ultegra-6800-11-speed-di2-groupset-p246029

From speaking to Westbrook I think the black colour scheme is actually 2013. I already had most of the Di2 gear so they were able to sell me the frame only. The frame was bought about 6 months ago though and they have been out of stock in most sizes for quite a while.

Wow. That is an amazing bike in my opinion. Realy like the paint job, only thing that bothers me at all are the wheels. I think it would look better with thicker rims. You have yourself a very nice bike indeed.
