UPC connection drops off Network access denied

I have one of these ****box Technicolour TC7200 all in one modem/router devices. I lose me connection to UPC every few days, resolved each time by restarting the device. It happened just now so I took a look at the modem status page and it says beside 'Network access' denied. A restart of the modem fixes it but what is the…

Probably the ****box modem/router?
