Need assistance with connection JARGON.

I have a standard eircom broadband and their wifi box.
Connected to the large output telephone socket is a funnybox which i receive tv signal.

I want to be able to put another funnybox in the bedroom for my severly disabled wife but i can not connect 2 funnyboxes to only 1 outlet.
I have been told to look out for a gigabit box as splitting the signal would half it.
What i am asking is can i purchase some sort of box (maybe even more powerful) which would safely replace the eircom box but have at least 2 large output telephone sockets? or are those things expensive?
To be honest i dont even know what i should google for on this as the jargon is very confusing.

according to its packagng its an Android box that connects the internet to your tv.

its must have a name and model number, android is the os and its an IPTV box ie uses a lan cable from router or it may be wireless. the wi fi box is the router.

Ok my question should be "is it possible to purchase a more powerful router than the eircom one then, preferably one with more than 1 outlet" (a something gigabit out)
I dont believe the Name and Model number of the box makes any difference to making connections.

That plugs into the mains, how does that carry the connection, sorry but i am not up on computer stuff.
