Skrtel made a better run into the box in his 10 minutes up top than lambert, borini, mario has done all bloody YEAR!

    Says a lot really.

You applied that to Kenny so presumably?

You'll pretend it's not and Rodger's true thoughts are much more realistic. But that's just your deluded hope tbh.

So you take every thing as manager says as gospel? Right....:pac: I suppose Wenger honestely didn't see the Pires incident. :pac:

That ending was all about a combination of Stevie's brilliance on the free, the players feeding off the energy from the crowd after it, and Basel shítting themselves.

That had nothing to do with how the team was set up.

I'll have a proper rant in the morning, but suffice to say, Rodgers has a lot of explaining to do for his starting team and his substitutions. There was little rhyme or reason to them.

A word on Sterling though; just unreal. He still makes odd decisions sometimes, but to be carrying the team like he is takes some doing. We have nothing going forward without him.

We are all here supporting the Club!!!

We can all see what is wrong except the manager that doesn't mean we don't support Liverpool FC.

After last season Rodgers deserves until the end of the season to fix things.

    I don't know.

But there has to be someone out there who could perform better than Rodgers is.

Someone who is capable of buying decent players would be a start

    Such a shame...

Liverpool were a joy to watch for the neutrals last year...a real story and they would have advanced tonight if Suarez was still there....but Christ....

Unless Rodgers forks out 60million on a world class striker, this squad will fade back into obscurity...

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2778224/Boost-Tottenham-Everton-UEFA-confirm-FIVE-Premier-League-clubs-feature-Champions-League.html

UEFA confirm FIVE English clubs could qualify for next season's Champions League if Tottenham or Everton win Europa League
Europa League winners will gain entry to Champions League
If Tottenham or Everton win the Europa League, the Premier League will have five representatives in Europe's elite competition
It was suggested that the top three and Europa League winner would qualify - making four - but UEFA have confirmed this will not be the case
Tottenham have missed out when finishing in top four as Chelsea won the European Cup
Europa League final is in Warsaw

Thats if we are good enough to win the Europa League.

We are shoite but I think Rodgers can turn it around.
Still in three cups and a long way to go in the league.
Bitterly disappointed to throw the second round of that away but the content of some comments in the last few weeks is absolutely OTT.

They'll have to rip up the transfer committee policy also as it's killing us

Disastrous night. Rodgers should be under incredible pressure now. That first 45 mins was as bad as I've ever seen Liverpool play. The Suarez money was well and truly wasted.

Even more annoying that Markovic was looking decent before the sending off.

Or atleast utilise the ones we have and not usurp them out of the squad. Can/manquillo/moreno/lallana can all feel pretty hard done by regards game time considering the players playing in their positions have been poor.

If we were to get rid of Rodgers which I wouldn't yet.
I would go for Frank De Boer.

It wasn't a red card, and this type of myopic reactionary post is fairly embarrassing.

If all the players bought with the Suarez money were sold in Jan or the coming Summer much of the money would be recouped.

That's how the owners will look at it, and the accountants.

Sack the manager who brought us to within a WHISKER of winning the league last year... did we learn nothing when we sacked Rafa during his tough run?

this year was always going to be mega tough with the extra games and losing possibly the best player we've ever had. We can't spend €60m on a striker. Do people really think that Rodgers wouldn't want the likes of Di Maria, Sanchez etc at the club??? I can't understand how anyone could think he doesn't deserve time to get it right?!?!

The performances have been really really poor and criticism of them is fully warranted. But all this "thats the last straw" malarkey is pure rubbish. We're not in the relegation zone lads. He's shown in the past he can get us playing well even without Suarez. A bit of patience from the supporters is the least we can give.

Within the remit he's giving to use as criteria by the owners.
I might want to buy my messages from Supervalu but the other half is telling me we had to work within a budget in lidl and aldi.

Get a DOF in, let him vet and decide on a manager. At least then there is no fighting between who is being signed and who is being played.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,989 ✭✭✭mikeym

Most of the fans will have had enough of Rodgers if we get thrashed by Man Utd this Sunday.

If we play well and try and get a draw he will still have the backing of most of the fans.

Its a shocking season so far.

I see Rodgers getting an unfair level of criticism from folks in here. Hysteric, moronic, reactionary criticism.

    Of course be said it.

I'd say there's plenty of red tape.

He basically admitted as much re Ballotelli recently

While Rodgers hasn't been doing well this season, it's as if he's just this months scapegoat. His team selection was poor and it wasn't a good first half but he saw this, acknowledged his mistake and made changes at halftime. We played well in the second half up until the red card, Markovic wad running at players. Those saying the red card changed nothing are just being a bit stupid.
