Two goals and two assists in four games for Richie, isn't it?

He has offered more. It isn't even up for debate.

Your opinion is not gospel, despite what you think.

Simply have to go out and bring in a top quality striker in January. More of a priority than replacing any other position on the pitch including Mignolet.

During the Summer I hated the thought of spending 20 million on Bony. Id bloody well take now I'll tell you.

If we want to have even a very outside chance of top 4, we need to sign a top striker in Jan.

Next weeks game is actually looking like a must win or top 4 is gone tbh.

Did Borini ride Rodgers' daughter or what?

She didn't want to apparently but her Dad kept on about his world class movement.

Bad news when you can only muster 2 shots on target at home against anybody never mind sunderland, coutinho and lallana were poor, hendo and sterling were only handy, lucas and toure had great games though tbf, but everyone ahead of them on the pitch were piss poor tbf, we play anything like that on tue night and we are gone

I just do not see where a strong performance is going to come from these days. If Basel cone to shut up shop, they will succeed.

True. The Shankly statue outside the stadium offers more than Balotelli.

It might not be gospel but there has been a vast improvement in our play of late.

Would have it in my combined team ahead of Carrick and Fellaini.

I listened to the game on the radio while on the train and I have to say it sounded utterly depressing.

It seems other than Lucas and Toure playing their normal game none of the other players can even manage to play at a normal standard.

The manager and coaches don't seem to have any answers at the moment and holding out hope for Sturridge to be the answer is so wrong.

The club wasted £120m on summer transfers I don't think anyone can argure that point now.

FSG have big decisions to make soon RE; the coaching staff and transfer budget.

It's go all in the these coaches or fold and look to play another hand.

Sturridge better come back as the football equivalent of Jesus or we're so screwed.

Lambert offered nothing today except a static point to aim at. No way Balotelli offers less as far as I'm concerned.

Couldn't agree more. If anything he hindered our build up play by somehow having a reputation for being a big target man up front which encouraged us to play the occasional long ball which Browne and O Shea mopped up with glee.

Get him out of the team as soon a humanly possible. He offers absolutely nothing.

I don't know really, I'm just confused he is putting himself in that position.

I'm under no illusions about Borini, I just think that constantly starting a slow 32 year old with no suitable substitute is...strange to say the least.

How in the name of god did we end up with the worst strikers in the premier league, its crazy when you think of it:mad:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,572 ✭✭✭SM01

Borini isn't good enough for Liverpool, I appreciate that, however in the absence of a mobile forward such as Sturridge or Suarez at least he offers movement to drag defenders out of position, stamina to do it for 90 mins and he's reasonably nimble. Couthino, Sterling and Lallana (Henderson to a slightly lesser degree) thrive on movement and space opening up before them. Lambert, is as honest as the day is long, just doesn't offer this. To reiterate: Borini isn't good enough, but at least his attributes fit with a style of play that worked for us last season. I don't understand why he's not getting a look in.

    Poor transfer dealings

Since we always seem to be chasing the next Messi... How the hell did we not go after the original next Messi.

    Bojan the prefect moneyball player.

    Two goals versus one.

Getting a Leicester player sent off in a game we were struggling in.

His contribution to Johnson's goal last week.

All that in about 25%/33% of the gametime.

It isn't an opinion, it's what has happened this season.
