I'm half tempted to pull together a list of all the players ever to play for all 10 clubs, stick them in a database, and get the answer. But only half.

I know Matt Busby played in and captained Man City and Liverpool, and also played a handful of games for Chelsea and Middlesborough . I don't ever recall reading anywhere that he played for the Glasgow giants though despite being Scottish of course.

I think the question is incorrect..

Paul Stewart has played in the most derbies in Britain

    Man City
    Tottenham
    Liverpool
    Sunderland

Done that with a list of United, City, Arsenal & Tottenham player and names that came up on both those pairs didn't appear for all 5.

Has to be a trick question, or non men's football.
Or insane such as a player was a youth player for some of the 10 teams before turning pro.

edit. Can a Merseyside derby include Tranmere?

Apparent quote doing the rounds -
Layvin Kurzawa (AS Monaco): The club of my dreams? Manchester United. And it's one of my goals to play there one day." [le10sport]

He's a very good player from what i've seen of him. Plays left back and left midfield.

Is it not a trick question? It's never a match official?

As I suspected it was a "flawed" question

the quiz master just emailed around that he got it wrong.

he was looking for "Paul Stewart" as the answer - which never played in Glasgow ..

he obviously got a lot of emails / questions about this question as no one could answer it.

At least we didn't have to wait until Monday.

Good to see Louis put the foot down about nobody mentioning several major exits we had this summer on top of the injuries (and many United fans are included here, not just the general media).

Watching in now on SSN, fair ****ing play. You got to love the man. Faith in his squad, and its showing on the pitch.

Lol hes giving the hairy side of the hand to the reporter about our injuries

Who is he talking about? Because most of the exits in the summer were people who needed to be gone.

I stay in the premier inn with the missus when we head over. Its literally just down the road, you can see OT from the door. Very handy if you want to do the tour of OT when its a non-match day
