VDSL, would Eircom install in an unnerved Estate?

Hello all, I'm struggling with this one. Info is very hard to find. There is an estate with 50 houses/apartments that only has dsl and only just. Eircom have fibre within 200 meters of the estate. Fibre runs to a VDSL enabled exchange. How do the home owners go about getting Eircom to install a VDSL cabinet? Can you pay…

Hello all,

I'm struggling with this one. Info is very hard to find.

How do the home owners go about getting Eircom to install a VDSL cabinet?

Can you pay Eircom to install the cabinet?

Either theres a cab that hasnt been done yet, check fibre rollout.ie

OR

The lines are direct fed. You need "Network Rearangement" in this case, after 2016 if they choose to do it.

you can check eircom's website here to see if a cab is planned in the relative near future for your estate
