Vince seems so nervous and full of nonsense.

Creditability bump for Punk on a key point there.

Austin is doing far too much talking about himself here

"The title doesn't draw people into the arena". Sums WWE up these days.

Randy Savage will absolutely be in the Hall of Fame.

The way Austin looked at him you could tell he wanted to ask about Stephanie but thought better of it. :D

To be fair to Vince, he tries his best to avoid throwing dirt or criticizing anyone.

Vince is calling it in the ring! 15munute overtime. This will mess up their schedule which apparently is why the Survivor Series post-show never happened.

This only live on the WWE network or something?

So funny to see Vince change something on the fly. "I own the network, therefore we are going for another fifteen minutes". :D

So January 1st. I'm holding you to that Vince!

Disappointing, Vince made the whole Punk issue seem unimportant and danced around everything like everyone knew he would. Austin was pretty great though, as always. Poor Cesaro, apparently he can't talk and doesn't have the "it" factor. Who knew?

    He said don't. :p

You could have surmised it yourself by how he was booked. The dirtsheets reported that was Vince's belief too pretty consistently. Don't claim to have any real access to that high in the Company but I was told Vince's conception of Cesaro is that he is too aloof/intellectual. "Very European" I guess. :p

Vince did dance around subjects but to to be fair to Vince, he tried his best to avoid throwing dirt or criticising anyone equally too.

Considering the environment it was made in, in the heart of the WWE with it's very owner, it was, to put it as SC might, a god-damn hellacious podcast. Vince did give a bit of a corporate answer with regards to Punk but he was more open than I thought he'd be. He certainly gave more of his thinking than I thought he would. I still think there could be a relationship with Punk again one day, although I know Punk is adamant right now that there will not be, and that's understandable, but if there could be one with Bret, then you just don't know what could happen.

What he said about some of the talent could go both ways. Personally, I think if there's disgruntlement caused then those disgruntled should harness it in a positive way to show what they can do. Tear up the script, take a risk.

They can't do anything though, the scripted promos are so lame that there are no risks to take. They make Raw unbearable to watch. Tried to watch Raw this week but there's so many horrible cogs working together to make such a sh1tty product, it was impossible.

The first thing he did was bury the whole roster.

Dynamite Kid takes a sick bump (very end of match) which the cameras barely caught. Basically took a back bump from the second rope to the ring floor: mental for the time period.

Everything about Tom Billington was ahead of the time, without him - no Daniel Bryan.

I'm sickened to hear Vince's comments regarding Cesaro not connecting with the Audience - he did with the Giant Swing, and they took that from him.

Punk was right - Vince really is an out of touch old Man.

Macho Man, Punk, The Network in UK, Not making Stars... Austin really did ask the questons most would have even if he did talk to much himself.

I agree that the scripts are bad, that's why I'm saying throw it away. If there's one in the organisation who feels they can get their point across better than the lines allow, then take that risk. Bray Wyatt was only on SC's podcast, talking about how he never uses scripts and he's given license to do so because he's proven he can do better without them. Ultimately, the greats are great because they took a leap of faith at some point.

I was most interested in what SC said about the writing team. I still don't really understand why they feel the need to have such a huge writing team. I still don't know how, if a real effort is being made, how a big team can't give everyone a story where a small one could back in the 90s and early 2000s.

That interview must be incredibly disheartening to listen to for Cesaro.
