Hey, I'm going to Trinity in 2015, (I'm a deferred applicant!) and I hope to get into halls... I know absolutely no one in trinity, so I guess I want to know how easy it is to make friends there, how is the room mate selection thingy done (if you get me..), will there already be cliques in halls, as some people might already know people there?

    Thanks in advance!(:

You'll be grand. I didn't know anyone in Trinity before going, had a great time. No need to worry, especially if you're in halls. Everyone wants to get to know people.

Don't worry about knowing very few. Its university, new beginnings etc etc...
Its as easy to make friends as you want it to be.
You fill in a personal statement and get put into a place based on that.
Yes some people may know each other but I wouldn't worry one bit about cliques or any nonsense like that. Just be yourself and find people you can relate to very well
