Narrowly avoided a third trip to the millionaires club with a GW ranking of 985k

No bonus for Aguero? Yellow cards penalised too heavily imo

-3 BPS for the yellow. Still wouldn't have gotten a bp with those 3. Two massive missed chances were a big reason he missed out

It's ridiculous. He got two assists and was the stand out player on the pitch but gets no BPs. The BP system is a joke, Hart getting one is laughable.

51 all in. Nice to be back on the greenie train after a red last week. I'll be interested to see whether my 8 points today moves me up or down; I'm thinking slightly down due to Aguero(c) and autosubs.

Went down 400 places overall so I was spot on

On the other hand, hes a striker, didnt score and missed 2 sitters and got booked. Fair enough imo (and I say this as an Aguero captainer)

Fukk me! A green arrow, up 3k places to 16k. Did not think id be ending the week rising in OR

A rise of 3k but disappointed not to sneak into the top 10k. 10150 OR

Up 13k to 31k. Another solid week. Be interesting to see how GW14 works out now with all the injuries (+Costa suspended) and such a short turn-around time

    Site updated!

Down 150 to 2.8k after 10 today. Up 1.6k overall. Delighted!

    horrid couple of weeks.

    Sanchez (C) flop

    Baines, Dummett, Bertrand

    Sanchez, ADM, Fab, Downing

    Campbell, Bony, Aguero

ouch. I'll take my 35 -4 and head for the exit very fast

mind you, I did get to get the guy chasing me to captain costa instead of aguero so that's a plus :D

    42K to 104K with my total of 691 points over 2 GW's.

    What a season for me:eek:

I got away with all the mistakes so far. When you get to the top it looks like you have to work really really hard to drop back to where you belong.
2 quiet gameweeks helped it, i guess.

    330158.png

    202 overall. 21 in Ireland.

194 in GW1 league which means at least 8 people did really well missing the first one.

    That's outstanding stuff wonski

The BPS is in no way perfect, and has its flaws, but it is a million miles better than the old system. There are anomalies like Aguero getting none every week, but at least its objectively graded/scored.

Sure, when they first introduced bonus points they were only awarded to one player, and they basically went to whoever played in the England team. Now that was a joke.

I distinctly remember back in 2008 or so and Chelsea beat Bolton 4-3, after being four nil up. Lampard scored a penalty, had a free kick saved, but was otherwise anonymous and was taken off around an hour into the game, and while Bolton had yet to score.

I had a running joke about the bonus pts with a workmate so i turned to him and said "That's 3 points in the bag for Frankie!" as he walked off the pitch. Turns out i was correct.

50 (-4) brings me inside the top 20k for the first time this season. Happy with team and looking forward to the Christmas madness :)

I remember when a legitimate tactic was taking into account a players hairstyle as the theory was the more unusual hairstyles meant the player stuck in the minds of the bonus point awarders more easily.

    Assou ekotto being an example

That's odd....my GW1 rank and OR are the same, but those 8 people are surely ahead of me too?

Dropped 189 places from yesterday and now in 5,300th spot. Another red arrow makes it 3 on the spin. My last 11 weeks have read: 4 red arrows in a row, 4 green arrows in a row, 3 red arrows in a row.

Well done. And it's just that they haven't updated the GW1 table yet, no way would someone be that good!

I remember Ronaldo getting a 3 bonus in a 0-0 game at Spurs a few years ago, I weeped silently that night

59 for the week and climbed 215k to 290k overall, have made up some of the 350k places i dropped the last 4 weeks! More importantly into 2nd in the boards pay h2h, before this GW I had the 4th lowest score in the league but was in 4th place, top 3 lost today, even when dropping 350k places in the last 4 GW's I won 2 and drew 1 in the h2h, just shows how much luck plays in h2h leagues, long may it continue!

Just missed the 2m club. GW 1.9m.......ouch. Delighted to only drop back 2k to 4.3k overall.

Looking back at my gw history I'm slightly shocked to see that I actually hit the 2m before this season. Plus 4 visits to the millionaire club and two more 900k plus!!!

How the fook am I still in the top 5k.... :)

my 17 points scored today sees my climb 1.5k places & 430 places in total from beginning of gameweek to 2.2k overall and 200 in Ireland.

This shows that things are a bit more "civilized" in the top 5-10k.

I've had very average 2 weeks and climbed up a little. When you are in the 500k territory single point makes a huge difference.
I reemmber jumping up and down all over the place last season...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

    Up 3k today to 6.4k :)

After lamenting my dithering and my 5 defenders getting 1 point between them it's a fantastic result. Imagine if Sergio got the penalty instead of being booked! It's been an unprecedented run for me so far this season though.

This is very true. Gargatron tells me I'm 14 points behind top 1k and 11 points ahead of top 5k. So if you own the big players and make safe captain choices it's hard to plummet. Only a certain Spanizilian striker can do that to me and he's out for midweek :D

Finish up at 32k so a rise of 3k. Last season Hazard kickstarted my year with a bumper display against Sunderland in the midweek game where he was unplayable.

I'm hoping he'll do the same against Spurs this year.

I brought in Harry Kane this week. Got Man of the Match from Sky. Zero bonus points
