Would you like to display your photo(s) on the opening page of our website?

    Hi,

    I'm the webmaster of an Irish organisation involved in cannabis law reform. I PM'd CabanSail about posting this thread here first just to make sure I wasn't breaking any rules. He said it was ok once I didn't link to the website, as that would be advertising.

    Basically I'm looking for people to provide any photos that they have taken in Ireland of hemp, cannabis, shamrock, fields, countryside, landscapes etc... If you do, I'd like to feature them on the opening page of our new website that will be going live shortly. I will credit any photos if you want or not, that's up to you. I will use maybe 4/5 images in the sequence but will change the images to keep the opening page fresh, this gives those who want their photos shown a chance to be shown at some stage.

    Please see the attachments below of images that I found on the internet, these are the type of photos that I'm looking for, would you have any photos like those?

    If you have any questions, please let me know.

    This thread has been approved as it concerns a request for the use of photographs.

    Please keep discussion on this thread about relevant images only.

    Issues about the the use of cannabis or the laws relating to it are not appropriate in this forum. I am sure the OP would discuss those issues in another forum.

    since it's not explicit in the OP - it's worth getting confirmation that there will not be payment for the images.

    Thanks for your comment. There will be no payment involved, the organisation is a non profit and we're just looking for people to showcase their photos if they wish, on the website.

    What about other ethnobotanicals? Nicotina Rustica, Nicotina Tobaccum, papaver somniferum, Ipomoea violacea, Argyreia nervosa, Amanita muscaria and so on and so forth?

    Have a look through my Flickr photos (pacork) and if you think anything might suit let me know.
    Not too many landscapes but there's a few and some from Amsterdam (from Queens/orange day. Lots of people partying on barges, streets).

    Cool, I might take you up on that offer as I do delve into those horizons in another organisation that I'm involved with, using the medicine from the Bufo alvarius. Sure we can discus that via PM ;)

I've picked out 10 of your photos that I'd like to use on the site at some stage. Would you like me to put a © on them? I can put the title of your photo and your name, or not. What would you be happy with?

    Hi. No need to put in the photo name but please include 'Patrick Dinneen Photography'
    If you need the photos in larger size than on Flickr just DM me.

    Thank you CabanSail for letting me post this thread. And thank you dinneenp for letting us use your photographs. Our website went live today and it looks really well with the images on the opening page.

    If anyone else is reading this thread and might be interested in supplying thier work, please don't hesitate to PM me. And, if you're interested in just taking a look at the website, drop me a PM and I'll give you a link to the website.
