Has anyone ever done a FAS college course. I have heard people passing who barely if ever attended. Is this true. Im on Jobseekers now going to do a course. Can my payment be cut with poor attendance.

Who ever told you that is telling the truth except they would not of got paid.

In fas (solas its called now I think)
You have to attend to get paid
they have a clock in system. Just like a job.
You clock in late, you get deducted depending on how long you're late
Longest I was like was like 10 minutes think I got deducted 3 euro for it.
You clock out early same thing happens.

You can easily pass the course without attending, but I wouldn't advise it if you need the money.

But also if you don't attend regularly you will get kicked off the course and you're payment will be affected if you try to go back onto jsa.

    So basically

You have to attend, or you will get no money and possibly kicked off the course.
