Didn't Steve buy the pub for her?

It looked like Mary still had the falsies on when she took off the sunglasses. Bit odd considering she'd been to the doc and gotten drops. I really enjoyed the but with Julie and Dev at the party. Was delighted to see Dev jealous. I feel he thinks he could do better than Julie but is secretly falling for her. She's a kind caring person and he could do a lot worse.

Not sure, did he put it in her name? Doubt it.

Liz part owns the pub, she put up some of the money at the time, I think. That was why she came back.

How's Izzy getting up the stairs of the flat for casual, drop in visits?

I was wondering the same thing. It'll be interesting to see how they get over that one. I suppose Eoin could carry her up the stairs.

I enjoyed the bit with Dev and Mary and the eyelashes. It was over the top, but funny :D. I like daft, funny bits like the guy in the parcels office, drawing down the blind, and Rita and Norris peering under it.
And seeing as Norris promised to be there at 8.44 a.m the next day, we can relax knowing that he will finally get the parcel :D

I'd like to see Dev and Julie getting together. She is very sweet. I think they would be a good couple.

I always thought the flat she shared with Gary was upstairs. Always presumed he carried her up. How is she managing now on her own with her invisible son.

I don't think Corrie ever showed Izzys flat, I think she has a wheelchair accessible flat.

It showed it when she lived there with Gary. Had loads of lovely colourful stuff and Orla Kiely wallpaper in the hallway. Or did she move out after they broke up?

Yeah I remember that too. Gary moved out when they split up,she stayed put. Don't know if the flat was upstairs or not tho. But how does she afford it on her own on her wage anyway? And how does she manage an active toddler on her own??

The poor kid's never around anyway, always pawned off on someone :D

Oh to live the life of a resident of Coronation Street, able to eat out all the time, pay rent on a cute little flat, manage a child and still have enough money for pints in t'rovers, all on a humble knicker factory stitcher's wage! And then murders and all kinds of shenanigans to keep you entertained!

Dev plans an evening out with Julie, asking Mary to come round. Getting the wrong end of the stick, Mary arrives with a DVD and is stunned to see Dev and Julie in a passionate embrace. As Dev proudly announces that he and Julie are going on their first date, Mary realises she's nothing more than the babysitter.

I had to try and think what the child's name is, Jake, I think... They never seem to even refer to him. Is he upstairs with Joseph :D...

They are good mates, he looked shattered, so she was just worried for him. I'm just surprised that Lloyd hasn't copped it with Steve or that Steve hasn't told him anything.

Liz is a tiresome shouty oul wagon, getting a bit sick of her bossy ways.

Annnnnddd.......tonite was the return of that great stalwart of soap acting......Kevin Websters jacket anno 1989. I thought they binned it when he was on leave, but no, just like Ken Barlow it refuses to die.
