Can't download files from some websites

    Hi everyone,

    So on my laptop I can't download anything from certain websites. Rapidshare and nvidia drivers are 2 that I can think of. If i try downloading anything from those websites, it will download at 10 kbp/s and fail after a few minutes. Any other website and Steam I can download files from at around 700 kbp/s.

    When I bring my laptop into work and use the wifi there I can download perfectly again, so I presume it's nothing to do with my laptop?

    Would I be better off asking over in the eircom forum?

    I haven't used Rapidshare in years but I seem to remember the speeds were capped unless you were a premium user??

    Not at 10 kpb/s though, and I can download much quicker than that from rapidshare when I'm at work.

    Yeah I think you would be better off asking in the Eircom forum. I saw a thread pop up on the Eircom forum of people having slow speeds on certain websites, you can add to the pile :D
