    Shaw was amazing last week
Carrick was good too, very calming influence at the back - although rumours of blind playing at CB and he is well able to play there.

McNair has faced Lukaku/Ageuro/Sakho this season and he has performed very well.

Carrick has to be the worst excuse of a player I've ever seen , I'm pretty sure he's done a father Dougal on it and picked up 10 packets of crisp wrappers to get where he is

    He can't defend

    Can't tackle

    Can't head the ball

    Constantly gives dangerous frees away

    Constant booked

    Gives the ball away

Can't pass accurate over 5 yards

    Zero vision

    Rarely very rarely assists

    Even rarer scores

Yea he's "calm" on the ball , very calm I'll agree with you there, but what the **** good does calm do anybody, roy Keane wasn't calm - sickens me he wears the 16 jersey , he's a horrificly average footballer who's only ability is to "calm" play down because he's so slow and technically inept, he offers nothing for a team in attack nor defense and his "calming" effect in the team is very questionable .... Centre half is an artform an artform that he pisses all over ......

It's enough to send poor Paul mcgrath back on the gargle

Palace may score but it might not be down to Carrick. :)

Utd have been conceding freely without Carrick. We will know about 10 to 5. :) Hopefully for you the bet comes in...:)

You'v a short memory. Easily one of United's best players when fully fit. Anyway this is a tips thread, take your rant to the United forum.

I'm going against Keith barry and the rest, think City will hammer QPR. -3 is tempting me.

I don't have a short memory I just refused to be brain washed by the BBC pundits who are his best pals telling us every week how good he is , he's horrrific and not a centre back

I think it's reason enough in this forum to show what a great bet is palace is to score 8/11 and both teams to score 10/11

Maybe I'm wrong but can't see palace bt get something against that back four

Not getting thick just putting my point across kid xoxox

The odds on Granitas Klaipeda have dropped from 2.50+ to 1.45, it's the end of the season in Lithuania and there's nothing at stake for either team.

earlier today the other Lithuanian game was fixed (most likely) for over 2.5

I don't know who your brainwashed by but you must not have seen much of Carrick with your opinion of him.

Last I'll comment on it as going off topic and wrecking everyone's head.... I watch a lot of him, not just the edited games on motd like most carrick lovers, he's an average player at best, that's praising him to be fair

And yes I have an excellent memory - I'll take you back to last season where he was injured for 2 months before Christmas - United fans and everyone was trying to explain what's going wrong at the club, a lot of naive fans felt it's because carrick was missing

.... Carrick comes back after Christmas and United lose 4 games on the trot - carrick was abysmal in all the four games ...lamated by the media. Most fans turned on him at that stage if memory serves.

He rarely assists - never scores and can't tackle .... He's not a good player he offers no benefit to Uniteds team attack wise nor defense wise

Average player at best "calm on the ball" I hear a lot ...... Xavi - scholes - zidane , these midfielders were very calm too in midfield - but they constantly probed and questions opposition defences with clever ball after clever ball.... Constantly forward passing with intent....

You'll say now he's not that type of midfielder.... He can't defend - tackle nor head the ball so none that defensive midfielder nonsense

Anyway boooooo hoooooo looks like my btts bet ain't going to win nor do palace look anyways good for a goal despite shoddy United defending

Everyone has their own opinions on their own players I happen to be a massive puncheon fan and am going backing him to the hilts to get on the score sheet today

Please take this tripe to the soccer forum. It's where it belongs.

I'm thinking there'll be cards in the QPR game. Or maybe City will try and quieten down after midweek. Nasri will probably get very frustrated today like he did against CSKA(but somehow didn't get booked). Also, the City players in centre field will get fed up with Barton no doubt. Aside from that I think Aguero will wreak havoc and the rumours that QPR might grab a point will be put to bed.

Nasri to be booked 6/1 (skybet)
Fernando to be booked 5/2 (skybet)
    Aguero wincast 11/10

Think Leeds will win today. Unlucky to draw mid week. Blackpool are just awful, and it's at home.

It's the game every championship team will be targeting this year. Despite what's happening off the field, the players believe in Readfern.

19/20 best price, will be on at 5/6

3-1 ;) Went out as far as evens pre game.

Game tonight has cards written all over it alright. Fernando and fernandinhio playing, Sandro and Vargas hot heads too and no kompany at the back for city. Add to this that conditions are atrocious... Over 40 points on the cards tempting...
