When will they put up the old Superstars/Wrestling Challenge episodes?

New episodes of Monday Night Wars (The Rock's rise featured) and Rivalries (SCSA vs McMahon Part 2) up now for your viewing pleasure.

Really enjoyed the Monday Night wars episode with The Rock. Brought back some awesome memories.

Just been watching the first few of those. They're quite interesting at firat but the rehashed clips and interviews that take up a bulk of the shows get old after three or four times of seeing them. Enjoyed the first one, the NWO and Attitude era ones though. The Goldberg one was decent too. Haven't caught the Rock one yet but will do soon.

Felt the same as you Necrominus. I was hoping that the Monday Night War was something closer to RTE's Reeling in the Years with talking heads added in rather than just them re-purposing old documentary DVDs with a few newer talking heads.

A Sky Sports customer service representative informed Prowrestling.net reader Craig Beavis that WWE Network will be launched as a Sky Sports channel. "Yes, we will launch it as a channel with Sky TV," the customer service rep wrote in a one-on-one chat. "Currently we don't have any details but it will be going to be soon... And you will will be notified by adv, email or call."

Doesn't stop it being a crock of sh*te.

Bollocks. I wanted it only for the on demand stuff. Not for a fecking schedule!

And before anyone mentions it I'm aware of unblock us and vpns and the likes.

I can only hope they can roll out the OTT and the channel.

The $9.99 question is will Sky force WWE into blocking subscriptions from Ireland and Britain where people use a workaround.

Netflix have come under pressure in Australia for not doing enough/anything to prevent people there subscribing to Netflix despite them not having launched there.

Could be that the Beavis lad is talking crap as well tbf. A one on one chat is a bit convenient when nobody else has had any comment

I wonder will the live ppvs appear on sky sports WWE channel or sky box office as per their original agreement. Imagine having to pay for sky to get the network channel and then for the PPV seperately. Be a joke if that was the case.

I think they would have tried somthing by now to stop workarounds seeing as though we have been getting sky box office ppvs on the network since March.

I doubt Sky will move Raw and Smackdown, current programming they need ro fill oyt their 5 stations to any new WWE station that costs extra. So I imagine that a channel on Sky would need to carry the PPVs.

The way I look at it I don't have Sky so for me to get get Sky Sports thats the guts of €50 there would be.........

...I would pay that to watch something I could find on the internet for $9.99.

They played the Vince apology video tonight in Dublin. You know the one that refers to "here" in the United Kingdom with no reference to Ireland at all.

    So boo and double boo.

Insane Championship Wrestling based in Scotland have launched there own ondemand service https://icwondemand.pivotshare.com/. They were featured on a BBC documentary called Insane Fight Club. It costs £3.99 I beleive.

I'm really hoping that this Sky channel doesn't happen if I'm being honest. Currently subscribed to Sky Sports, but am cancelling after my current offer runs its course as paying €50+ a month for it would cripple me! I'm not even really using the unblock-us method so much for the current product but for older PPVs and such. So it looks like I'll be sticking with my 11 euro a month method.

Yeah, a lot of people lie about this kinda stuff (for what reason I don't know - maybe they just want to feel a part of the conversation). He didn't even copy and paste the conversation or get a screengrab? Calling BS until we hear something official.

Do Sky even have a chat service?

Someone posted yesterday from a sky rep saying they weren't doing it.

So I'm guessing they must have some sort of chat feature.

Really don't care about a Sky channel....unless they put it behind a seperate paywall and then move Raw and Smackdown to the channel as well :(

People ITT upset about the network being on Sky.

Just workaround the online version. I'm s**t with technology and even I can do it, so therefore anyone can!

You need to check out one part of superstars or at least search for Ryback and Axel talking backstage (you tube or wherever), fantastic. About 39/40 mins into the show.

It bugs me that WWE don't put this kind of thing on RAW, it would help people a lot and make someone like Axel a lot more interesting.

If it is a Sky channel, would there be any chance they could have the old ppvs etc on their own on demand section on the sky box ?

I think they would have tried somthing by now to stop workarounds seeing as though we have been getting sky box office ppvs on the network since March.

And seeing that they pay for a number of exclusives which a huge number of people here can watch on the foreign Netflix stores. If they ever put pressure on the likes of Unblock Us I'd assume it'll be more likely to be because of that then a few thousand wrestling fans.

They taped over the Network logo for the UK & Ireland tour:

They had it for the first night in London. Was stupid anyway.

They used the old WWE.com for Dublin didn't they?
