MEANS GOES UP EVERY MONTH

Hi,

Does any of you experience means going up every four months?
It is so weird because we havent done anything different. Same job, same working hours, same working days, no other income coming, but the means is going up. Before it was 26euros, then went up to 32euros and now to 48 euros. Phoned the SW office but they said it is correct, i wonder how they calculate it, eventhough nothing has changed to our income at all.

Then if necessary ask for a new means test

Have a look back at the documents you received advising how the means were calculated. Check those against the payslips provided for the means assessment and see if there are discrepancies.

Possible the first assessment was off a very small sample, 1 week or so and the following assessments are off bigger samples were things have been averaged out over time so any overtime etc would count in the assessment.
