Aston Villa have gone five games without scoring a goal, at some point that must change and they are playing Spurs - is it today?! 1.44 for Villa to break their barren run.

    Man City v Man Utd
Toure to be shown a card 11/4

He's picked up bookings this season at home against Chelsea & Liverpool

Rooney is reportedly playing further back the usual. If VanGal wants him there to boss midfield, odds of a card are high.

    Rooney Shown A Card @ 3.50 (Betfred)

    Gone solidly in on that.

    Great offer.

Fuking Barcelona. Backed them twice. Both times they've lost!! Ridiculous.

Anyways, I'm on blind and fernando to be booked today. 11/4 and evens.

Hoping they both take one for the team!!

small profit made, not sure city wouldve won that had utd not had a man sent off but that killed the other two bets either way

villa have been beaten to nil in their last five
much as I hate putting faith in a team like spurs...

spurs win to nil 13/5 (betway)

    Marseille -1 @ 1.75
    Marseille 2-1 @ 7.50

several reasons why Marseille will win imo
    - they've lost their last 2 games and I rate Bielsa as one of the best coaches in the league, he will find a way to make them win again
    - next week is the French clasico (PSG vs Marseille), Marseille will be 4 points above PSG with a win tonight which would leave in a nice position before heading for Paris
    - Lens have a young and terrible team and are missing several players, it won't be easy for their young and inexperienced players to play in front of a big crowd in a big stadium, plus it's the main game of the weekend shown live on tv
If Marseille don't win by more than 1 goal it'll be cuz they're already thinking about the clasico and they don't want to risk injuries/suspension.

Bielsa already announced the starting 11: Mandanda - Lemina, Romao, Nkoulou, Fanni, Mendy - Imbula - Thauvin, Payet, Ayew - Gignac. Lemina and Fanni replace the suspended Djadjedje and Morel, the rest is the same as usual.

Thought Benteke was building to a goal over the course of the game. Another Red card killing me though

That is four red over the last week (stating with Utd last weekend) that have played a part in losing bets!

..i should start betting on sending off again!

One last shot for the weekend...

Andre Pierre Gignac To Score 2 Goals or more @ 6.00 (Betfair Sportsbook)

Think that is a solid price compared to other bookies. Knowing my luck this weekend, he will just get sent off.

Taken the Marseille - 1 Las put up and also a small bit on FH - 1 handi 11/4 as they seem to bag a lot in the first half anytime I've been paying attention to their games this season.

Gignac now 3.50 on Betfair SB. Hope he thumps in a few

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,351 ✭✭✭magherakid

    Marseille v Lens
    Gignac anytime 19/20

New York Red Bulls v DC United
    BWP anytime 6/5

Lads Chelsea(Dnb) and Real Madrid -1 against the pool is almost 6/4. Can't figure out a reason not to lump on this, tempted even to throw Chelsea in straight but worried they might sit back if they go ahead.

    Milan vs Palermo

    Saponara Wincast @ 13/1 (Bwin)
    Saponara 1st goalscorer @ 22/1 (Bwin)

Crazy odds for an attack-minded midfielder. The Wincast is as low as 11/4 with PaddyPower

two stand out bets for me and a few others i'd imagine

    newcastle double chance 13/16
think pools luck will run out tomorrow and newc have hit some form
I know we have a good record against the magpies but wouldnt touch us at evens esp when newc have beaten city and spurs away in their last two

    city 19/20
unlike chelsea when city score they won't be sitting back on a one goal lead
really think utd will be badly exposed here

    edit, scratch that
im seeing aguero anytime at 6/5, makes a lot more sense to go with that surely (titanbet)
    Good shout mail!

Honestly if Marseille don't thrash Lens you can already take PSG to win next week, just heard that Lens have 8 players in the starting 11 who have played less than 12 games in Ligue 1, their keeper is an 19 yo who's playing for the 2nd time in Ligue 1...
