Glue to stick tuning peg back to guitar?

Hi, one of my tuning pegs came loose from the head of my guitar. What would be a good glue to stick it back with? Don't really want to use superglue in case it messes up turning the little gearwheel Thanks

It should be attached with a screw.

screw on the back and a nut on the front of the headstock
