    Hi Guys,

I am very confused. With so may options I am not sure where to start from.

I usually smoke 4-5 ciggs a day but now thinking of giving them up.

What's the difference between vaping and e-smoking? Which device should I go for. Should I buy locally or order from web if that can save me some money?

I have seen smokegreen kiosks at various places, not sure if they are any good.

    Looking for some suggestions.

    Thanks

4-5 cigs a day, if thats accurate, I'd say just quit altogether.
    Vaping = esmoking. Same thing.
Vaping is the preferred term as we want to get away from the smoking term completely.
We vape, we do not smoke...and so on.
If you switch to vaping you will still be addicted to nicotine, just without all the harmful aspects of smoking tobacco (as prooved by research so far). Will long term vaping turn out to be as bad as smoking tobacco? We just don't know that yet, the only thing we know for sure is vaping is far, far less harmful than smoking tobacco right now.
If you really want to try vaping I'd recommend strongly going for an ego twist type battery and a Kanger protank 3 mini.
Both are available on the many great Irish websites like Vaperus, esmokeireland, thebestshop and so on.
Just google them and you'll find loads of options.
The ego twist type battery gives you a cheap enough variable voltage battery which is vital IMO as some people like stronger vapes and other don't, you can tailor your vape to your tastes, and liquids are different too, what works at 3.8v with one liquid, might require 4v on another liquid to satisfy you personally. The Kanger Protank 3 min is just a great little starter atomiser. I love them, they are cheap, decent quality, easy to use and give great flavour and performance.
One thing I would say is under no circumstances buy anything that looks like a cigarette. They did nothing for me or any of my friends/colleagues who tried them and we all ended up smoking again instead. Not until I got (and recommended the above) set up did we all have success in getting of the death sticks. Of course I'm on much more advanced equipment nowadays but I still have the above knocking around at home and use it occasionally for certain liquids that don't work well in other devices.

If interested I'm sure I can put in links later on to the above.

@EGriff - I am in Christchurch area, Dublin. I am not sure about the budget but not for the most expensive. Any option for me locally or ordering from the web is the web to go.

@Didihno - 4-5 ciggs a day is pretty accurate. Actually during weekdays I never go above 4. Weekends over a drink maybe I will have another one but not more than that. Tried quitting altogether few times but after a few days I am back at it again. :(

Thanks a lot for all the information, really appreciate it. I was actually thinking vaping and esmoking are different. :)

Are these the ones you are talking about? Any idea of any other website or they look reliable? What king of liquid I need with these? Apologies for all the questions, I really dont have any clue about any of them.

    http://www.vaperus.ie/
    http://www.e-smokeireland.eu/
    www.thebestshop.eu
    www.bargainvapor.com

These are all good online stores that most people on here would use. I think the ones you posted are american, these are irish and deliver next day if you order early.

If you can get to palmerstown there is an e-smokeireland shop there and they will let you try out some juice and recommend a device for you.

There's also cigatec in dun laoghaire, same story if you pop in there they will give you advice and a taste of the juices.

No mate its these, the mini version:
    http://www.e-smokeireland.eu/product-p/prrotankmini3.htm
    And these batteries:
    http://www.e-smokeireland.eu/product-p/spinner.htm
    Or this:
    http://www.e-smokeireland.eu/product-p/spinner2.htm
With these batteries you'll need a charger:

Thats what I'd go for anyway, but you know the golden rule, shop around, see what you like. Afford what you can afford.
Also, Purplebox Vapours is in Temple Bar fairly near you, Crow Street. At least you can drop in and look at various devices.
Most of these places do starter kits, which usually have everything you need and usually two of each device in a box. They can work out cheaper than buying separates but I'm not convinced the quality is always as good. Oh and if you go into a store like Purplebox, you can taste all the liquids first.

Check out SmokeDifferent on 85 Capel Street. They''ll allow you to "try before you buy", so you'll be able to taste the various liquids before you buy one.

Thanks a lot guys, really appreciate all the inputs. Still trying to digest all the information. I guess it may take a bit of time to figure out the right one for me. It looks like one size doesn't fit all at least in this case.

I have got few starting points to work on. Hope to start vaping and stop smoking altogether soon. :)

^^ Thanks I might do that. Seems good idea to try first time from the shop then maybe for the next time order from web.

My friends and colleagues laugh at me the way I smoke at a set everyday. 9AM, 2PM, 7PM and 11PM. :) I just cant control the urge when I hit those times. As soon as I lit a cigg then I start thinking why the hell I am smoking. Hope this is going to help me get over it.

I wish someone would update the 'where to buy incl. discount codes section - whats the story with that? I'm not in Dublin atm and wasnt aware of this shop.

I'm always interested to hear about new Irish shops, particularly.if they have online stores. They have a few interesting e-liquids.

I was actually worried about that the day before, delayed by last one for the day by an hour or so and the next day it wasn't so bad :)
