Online writing class?

Hey all - I've been very bad at sitting down and writing lately so was thinking of doing a creative writing class. The last time I did one I was so productive - I need the discipline a teacher offers it seems...

Any way - I don't drive and it's difficult to find a class near to where I live so was wondering if anyone had done an online course and if they would recommend it. Or was it a case of paying the money and then never really doing any of the work...

has the big plus of being completely free. It is more aimed at the beginner rather than an experienced writer like yourself but there are a lot of good tips and ideas and you can do as much or as little of it as you like. There isn't the disciple of a teacher but you will get an email every week to make you feel bad if you haven't written anything and that might be enough to prompt you to do something.

I''m not v. disciplined either . I signed up for this, it's now in Week 5 but I'm still at week 1.

Here is a bunch of free, superb courses. They are always worth dipping into - no matter what level you consider yourself.

Hi,

I have done a couple here and abroad and the best one was by the Writers academy
they are linked to Penguin Random House Publishers It is really disciplined and harsh as well so you get the truth to improve your writing.

I've done a few with the Gotham's writing online. Some of them were great while others were just okay.
