the ps plus edition shows up for me on the irish store

That's only the upgrade to the plus version, it'll get you the full game but it's the free plus version people are waiting for.

Poor showing on the ps plus front this month I think, hope there's a game I can really get stuck into next month.

Is there any way I can send films that I have downloaded on my laptop to my ps4 wirelessly?

You can setup a plex server on your laptop, I tried it and it worked well

I see playstation tv seems to be able to do similar in the future too.
Cant find post but saw it the other day.

What browser do you guys use to navigate the store? I can't get it to work at all in Chrome and in Firefox it hangs every few minutes and I need to refresh. It is very annoying.

I use Chrome and have never had an issue, you have everything up to date like flash and java?

3 free games on PS4 and also DriveClub when that comes so I can't really complain

Nope, if you did then you could just burn them to disc and sell on. Buy a bigger HDD maybe?

You can back up your Vita games onto a hard drive if you so choose - I'd imagine they have DRM sorted to stop you selling them on. You used to be able to do it with the PS3 iirc but I think now you can only copy an image of the entire disk to a hard drive as backup. Don't think you can do it with PS4.

I suppose it goes back to the old debate of - if PSN ever went belly up what happens everyone's digital purchases.

Ya, I have heard too many good reports to walk away from it. It just hasn't grabbed me yet.

Is drive club worth the €40? I'm sick of waiting for the plus version!

I don't see the point in buying it just to play a broken game currently.

Wait until the server issues are better anyway.

Without the online features and club aspect to judge with, it is too early to tell. However, I am having a lot of fun with the single player part of the game.

Obviously it looks better than anything I've seen on a console but it also handles really well. I don't know your tastes but I don't regret my purchase so far.

Yeah I know but I could play the offline game for now. I just have an itch to buy a game at the moment, it should pass soon:-)
I had intended buying it if the demo was good anyway but would buy now if it was recommended.

Lads whats the craic with Drivers Club..

Why are they releasing a Demo and then charging.. is that not the way a lot of games come into the store.. like fifa was and still is a demo.. and you can buy it as well...

Is it just that this "demo" has a bit more content ?

I really hope this is not the way PS Plus is going where there monthly games are just extended demo's with the option to buy..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,161 ✭✭✭tok9

I don't consider it to be a demo

It's as much a demo as MGS Ground Zeroes is a demo (which it isn't). You just have less content. But my understanding is that all the features are in place.

Not specific to Ps+, but my ps3 can't get on to ps store. For third day it says that this service is under maintenance. Is it really, or ps3 is drunk?
