Ordered a OPO on Saturday 4/10/14 @ 10.40pm & was thinking there might be a delay because of the Friday invite giveaway. Anyway status changed from processing to shipping pending on Monday and then back to processing where it stayed until this morning. Got this email:

As I had chosen standard delivery royal mail tracking only tells you if it's been delivered which it was at 10.09 this morning. Should be in my parcel motel locker this evening.

Case and glass screen protector arrived yesterday which has got me worried that it's too big and I have big hands! Hopefully it'll be so good in all other respects that I'll learn to live with the size.

friend of mine bought one yesterday and is using parcel motel. was thinking of doing the same if I get an invite. anyone know how parcel motel works? like when i register my card will I just be charged once the parcel is in my local box or do I have to top-up my account and prepay before delivery?

You can set it up either way.

Either works. If you're going to use it as lot better to register your card. Expecting my text from Parcelmotel motel any minute now. Ordered late Saturday day night and chose standard delivery.

What stage are you at? If the Royal Mail tracker says Parcel Motel received it before 11 am that morning then you should have it that night if you're around Leinster. If you just ordered it will take 3-4 working days.

I live near the Parcelmotel depot in Dublin. Ordered opo on Saturday night and signed for in Parcelmotel yesterday morning just after 10. Didn't get my text until midnight!! Needless to say tired today. Can text one handed but a bit of a stretch so might resize keyboard.

Click on the US flag down the bottom. Change it to UK phleg.

Yeah and just use your normal address for billing. Ordered mine late Saturday night and had it on Wednesday - see my post a couple of pages back for timescales/shipping status etc

They send you a text with a 4 digit pin which you enter along with your phone number at the motel then a door pops open. I payed an extra €3.50 to increase the insurance cover from €100 to €500 (just hit the extend liability button) - having said that I've used them a lot and never had any problems.

i topped up my parcel motel account and put 10 euro into to it.thanks digitaldr did liability cover aswell, so will 3.95 be automatic taken out when i open the container ?

Not sure when they take the money - I've registered a credit card with them so don't have to worry about topping up.

The money is deducted when the driver closes the door of your locker, you get the text and email a few minutes later with the PIN.
