I have no phone line. Have freebies tv. Only want broadband. I have got a letter in the door offering me fibre broadband from eircom... The only options I have are mobile broad band , had 3 @ 35 e a month 15 go , now have tesco/02 it's useless. Slow . For an extra 15 quid this seems ideal , provided it's reliable.

The guy I was talking to today said I get around 3 bytes of some sort from my mobile broadband set up , and he said , I would get 100 ...? Speed...

Anyway ...is this fibre broadband all its cracked up to be....? ... For example ...does it congest .... At busy times ..is it truly unlimited ...from reading here it seems eircom block certain sites.???? I like to download a bit of music etc,,,

No congestion. It is unlimited- no fair usage nonsense. Up to 100mb, you can check your phone number on Eircom site for a guesstimate.
Required to block certain sites like most other ips. There are ways around such blocks, so in reality they can't block ****.
