Surprised to see green arrows.Up from 57k to 55k with 21. Hat trick from Costa would be nice now.

My 34 moves me up 74k places to 40k which I'm very surprised about. My wildcard looks like it has done the trick.

24 points sees me move up to 15k overall!

Still have 6 players to play with Di Maria my captain! Looking like a good week (fingers crossed)

2 FT's in the bank for the international break.

Depends how many left to play. I have 7 players to come tomorrow including captain so I'm happy enough with 18. I've a bit of a whimsical captain in Fab though, so not that confident. However I have both Costa and adm so even if one of them goes well it's not a disaster.

I don't have Aguero so if you'd offered me a 7 pointer for him this morning I'd have probably taken it.

27 with Clyne & Pelle, Fabregas & Costa (c) and Di Maria to play

Overall rank up to 812 :) Prob go down a bit tomorrow but happy to get a look in in the top thousand for now!

Shocked that I've jumped from 10k to 6k with 27 from 6 players. Still have captain Costa to go tomorrow. I'd be happy with 10k at the end of the weekend.

Just can't seem to make a good decision so far this season.
17 from 6 and 537k overall. WC ativated.

Could do with Falcao and Tadic going ham tomorrow

38 points with Costa, Fabregas and Pelle to play tomorrow. Aguero (C), Sigurdsson and Sterling my only good scorers, with my 3 defenders getting the grand total of 1 point each.

Green arrows all around and up to circa 7,000 in the world now which I'm delighted with, but I'd expect to drop back a bit tomorrow.

I was referring to the fact Berahino won the penalty not the game. I still think it's not right that Gerrard gets rewarded with a bonus point having had no attacking return and getting booked whereas Berahino who scored doesn't get any. The system is probably better than years gone by but still needs to be looked at with cases like this.

Ah OK. But again I didn't see the game so don't know how much the BBC live text reflects it but if accurate I'm not shocked by the BPs. Don't forget that committing fouls, getting caught offside, shooting off target, missing passes make you lose BPs.

That said the system is certainly not perfect but I think it's getting better with the years (the opposite than the price changes policy in my opinion).
I wonder if the cheap defence theory is starting to crack.. Burnley are going down and duff has had his day.. Leicester look to be shipping a few also... Defence is the hardest nut to crack this year in reckon

As Busts said, since the top teams are not yet performing much better, the cheap defence tactics is still valid. But yeah it may change, like last year (though it has already lasted longer).

34 points with 13 on the bench in the form of first sub Henderson.
    Doubtful he'll come in.
    Green arrows.

Dier, Fab, Di Maria, Falcao & Chambers to play

12 (-4) and down to 19k from 4k. Only had Siggy, Moore and PVA.

However I wait in the long grass like a predator who is simply toying with it's prey. Captain RVP is getting hungry now though and ready to strike! With Nolan ready to finish the job in the 4pm kick off. Lets be having you!

back up to 2k- 5 to play.
No massive scores around, so tomorrow be an interesting day. but lot people with same players. It's likes of RVP etc: who could make major moves.
Stay top 5k ill be well happy

27 pts with 7 to play, 20 of them were from Siggy (c). Hoping a few have quiet days tomorrow.

31 points from 5 players sees me jump almost 200k places up to 212k (surprised it was that much!). Also have ADM, Cesc, Costa Welbeck and Forster to play. I feel I'll drop a bit today as I captained Aguero where a lot have Costa captained.

26 points.... -4 sees me gain 12k places. Up to 75k in world.

Captain costa to propel me into the top 50k perhaps ? ;)

33 with Cesc, Ivanovic, Costa, ADM and Bertrand to play. Made ridiculous leap into top 30k last night. Really hoping that Costa has a quiet one so I can hold on to some of those gains.

Di Maria, Costa (c), Fabregas, Ivanovic and Pelle to play. I need big performances.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,568 ✭✭✭thewools

30 - with De Gea, Lamela, Fab and Costa remaining...

Lamela big differentional for one week only... Wildcard to be activated this week!

19 with 7 to play. A big score from Costa today could make things a little boring for the rest of the season as even fewer people will want to take a captaincy risk in the future.
But he has by captaincy so am hoping for that decent score.

I jumped 126,000 places yesterday to about 28,000. Some jump, but my captain was Aguero. I need a relatively quiet day from Costa in order to stay anywhere near top 50,000 I reckon. The 12 points from Robertson were huge for me yesterday.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

Man Utd: De Gea; Rafael, McNair, Rojo, Shaw; Blind; Valencia, Di Maria; Mata; van Persie, Falcao

Everton: Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka (c), Stones, Baines, Barry, Besic, Pienaar, Mcgeady, Naismith, Lukaku

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,589 ✭✭✭✭Necronomicon

Wow, what I thought was a supremely average 31 points yesterday sees me leap 50k places to around 40k. Forster, Clyne, Fabregas, Di Maria, Pelle and Diego Costa to play.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,488 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Jumped 20K places myself to 21K, but the whole gameweek pretty much rests on what Costa does now as its essentially the Costa captainers v the non Costs captainers

Also think that there's so little variation at the moment in the top 200K teams that a differential player performing could make a huge difference, so the likes of Chadli, Falcao or Baines today for those that have them

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

It's a big day in Prodston Towers today. I could have played it safe with Aguero and somebody or even used the wildcard but instead I took a gamble. It could set the tone for the next month or 2.

De Gea, ADM and RVP (c) in the first game. Costa, Fabregas, Clyne and Pelle for round 2 and Nolan coming in at the end when the dust will likely be settling for everyone else. I like to have my points on the board on a saturday as big sundays tend to let me down.

I think it's fair to say I'll sink or soar with whatever captain RVP does :o

Hopefully. Although sticking with the pack has worked a little too well for my liking so far this season. I'll be back to that tactic next week most likely anyway.
