How often Do You Reboot The Horizon Box ?

    I find if i dont reboot at least 2/3 times a week the wireless speeds drop to well below 30mb ?

    I don't have Horizon myself so I can't personally comment but my Auntie has it here in Carlow and like many suffered from woeful WiFi speeds, she rang up UPC and they reluctantly gave her a separate modem.

    So now her Horizon box is TV only with another router (Cisco I think) serving as the WiFi source.

    Perhaps if you ring up and ask they might be able to help?

    Horizon is an amazing product on paper but in terms of real world use.....

    That setup you describe with the bridged router has been a total disaster for us since they did it, we were better off on the Horizon box that only worked 50% of the time. Now it barely works, constant dropping, loads a YouTube video in seconds one minute then spends an hour unable to load a webpage...
