Vodafone router Smart DNS & Chromecast

Hi Guys

I have changed my Vodafone Huawei HG658c route for Overplay Smart DNS service. It works great all internet devices in my house can now get BBC iPlayer, Hulu etc. 24/7 perfectly.

I can also stream BBC iplayer via my laptop into my big TV screen. However my Chromecast will only work for streaming and will not do the Chromcast thing and connect directly to BBC iplayer. The reason being that that Chromcast does not use the routers DNS instead it goes straight to Googles DNS servers.

Can anybody help me create a static route to my device (chromecast ) in my main house routers (Vodafone Huawei HG658c) configuration menu?

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated?

I have tried to set up a static route (to block googles chromecast DNS servers) on my vodafone Huawei hg658c router to no avail. I am unable to find this in the routers configuration menu. Cpould you or any other member advise?
