    Hi Guys,

My mom has removed everything from the start-up list on my Aunts computer. It's an Acer Aspire E1-572P. I presume it's a case of restoring it with Acer's own "Acer Recovery Management." Anyone come across this before.

Thanks in advance as I dont want to move ahead with this any further without some more info.

If items have been removed then presumably they can be added back. Look in the help.

If you do a restore to factory settings and have used the default locations for storing data (I don't know why people do) then you will lose your saved data..

DO NOT DO A FACTORY RESTORE !!!

unless you want to say goodbye to all your data and settings forever.

look in the recycle bin, you might get lucky

failing that the easiest thing to try is a system restore and if that work's then Robert is your mother's brother

factory restore is only if all else fails and you are very aware of the consequences

if they've been deleted from startup that would most likely get fixed with a less destructive system restore-point. Don't use Acer recovery tools, OEM tools like that are for wiping the system back to it's out-of-box state.
