    Bad line...common sense..union heads will be outraged at this explanation of a system were performance is measured.. people sackable...outrageous.

    Performance is measured here too. Teachers here now have more inspections than just about any other job---subject inspections, individual inspections, unannounced inspections, whole school inspections...The results are on the web

    And under the new Teaching Council rules they can be sacked for under-performance
