Mannix is getting great mileage out of Liveline to further his political career.

At least he's not being populist

A Walking Tour of 100 people is ridiculous, though.
Limit the numbers - perhaps that's too simple.

It's a job creation scheme. The city council charges a fee for putting tables and chairs out on the pavement in order to pay the wages of their employees who come along to enforce the rules. Voila.

This guys a wanker, I'm sure I overheard him one day on the streets, spouting dirigible socialism to a group of tourists

It would be just like the thing if the Corpy workers knocked off at five and piled into the International Bar for a few pints.

You do get around don't you? Last week Barcelona or was it Madrid, this week Duablin. Where next week? Ballybunion???:D:D

I'm hoping to go on the Joe Duffy Hall of Fame Tour. Starting in Ballyer, moving past the Big Jim Larkin Ice Hockey Statue in tow-in the finally passing Chateau Duffy in Clontarf. It's free, but you can get a bowl of coddle and a small bottle ok TK Red Lemonade in Chateau Duffy for €975 on select days.
