eircom D1000 bridging

Hey folks. Having issues trying to bridge this modem. I have all the right PPPOE settings but it just wont bridge and let my Asus RT-N66U take over. Hey folks.

My Asus get my Wan IP but gets time out. So on the modem. Iv disabled the firewall. Changed the Lan settings to a different IP range, make sure the ethernet cable is connected to Lan 1 on modem and run it to the Asus Wan port and still nothing.

Any suggestions?
