Ye will see post on the motoring forum from a week ago, My Integra was Taken and despite the call to Liam ,It could not be saved.
So thats the last of them I will be driving.
Problem I am having now Is , well I test drove a few cars over the weekend and hated my life in all of them nothing wrong with the cars , just me plain and simple.

So budget is tight €1750 at the moment.
If it is to be a 1.9 diesel, it must have Tax on it
other wise engine size limit is 1.6 petrol or Diesel.
I drive 50km a day (work trip) and maybe another 100km at the weekend , 350km per week so Petrol is still in play here
Advise me on what I should be looking at , I may grow up and buy an adults saloon car :D
Oh and must be in Munster not driving half the country for a car anymore
all the looking is just blinding me

Right I will try add to this .

if I was to look at something like this http://cars.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/2002-vw-passat-1-9-tdi-4-15-very-clean/7559030

What should I be looking for in the Passat of that year.
(Yes I can google but would prefer Boards first & second hand info)

Just wanted to comment to say I'm sorry to hear about your car. Similar situation happened me about three weeks ago and I was absolutely devastated. Like you, the car was found but the engine was totally destroyed. An absolute mint condition Nissan Figaro in show condition was destroyed to a wreck in one night.

I found the lads on here to be a huge help when deciding on my next car and now I couldn't be happier. It's not as pretty or as fun as my Fig, but it's comforting to know I don't have to worry every night about it being taken on me.

I'd say keep your eye on the Bangernomics sticky. There's always something in that in your price range.

    What about a corolla?

I prefer the hatchback shape, but that's just me.
