Rally Car Sounds Heard In Hazelwood Forest

    I heard the sound of rally car racing between 2 and 3pm in Hazelwood Forest today. It may have been going on longer than that as I only arrived in Hazelwood at 2pm.

    The sounds could only have been coming from one place and that's the old disused factory behind Hazelwood House. Does anyone know of any organised car racing events taking place on this site?

    It was very loud and is the 'last thing' you would want to hear when in a forest.

    Anyone making money out of this deserves to be 'named and shamed'.

    Great that they are using a old site that wouldnt be used. They would of brought in some money into the area...

    This has been going on for years now a friend of mine competes it's ran by the Connacht motor club.it is not boy racers and where or what are you getting at by naming and shaming
