Just wondering if anyone knows the breakdown of the two big internet providers?

What tier would UPC be or Eircom? What tier would either one connect to after that. Just wondering about where the connections go physically to be routed. Anyone any knowledge on this.

There are ~6 submarine links out of Ireland, it all goes through them. They land at Dublin and Wexford, theres a publicly available map. Different groups own different links but I'm not sure what transit is used after that. Connections arent encapsulated so you could probably work it out for your own ISP with a few traces.

if you wanted to run your own tests to see what way everything routed sign up to ripe atlas, youll be able to run your own tests from the device and figure out what way everything routed from there
