satalite broadband?

    Is it any good,can't get sitcom here and the 02 is gone v slow
    Just wondering if satalite broadband is any good?

    Its not great, I'd be looking at fixed wireless broadband first if I were you.

    If you need to use VPN or something similar for remote access to work, satellite broadband latency can be a problem. I'd only get it as a last resort to have web browsing and email access, etc. Correct me if I'm wrong?

    No. Basically there's a transmitter on a hill somewhere, and there's a receiver on your roof pointed at it.
    You can get a home phone service through it too without a landline.
