Challenging Projects around Blackrock

I heard some news last weekend about changes to the Sion Hill Campus in Cross Avenue in Blackrock.

Froebel College, a training college for primary school teachers, has moved to NUI Maynooth in Co. Kildare.

I also heard from an former staff member from my old primary school "Benincasa" is moving into a new building on the campus in September. The current building they have right now is about 200 years old or more which would make great sense for them to move out from within a few months time.

Just to update you that the new Melfort housing estate beside Newpark Comprehensive School is now officially completed since last weekend. There had been a show-house open to the public for people that had an interest in buying the properties on the estate.

The estate is also decorated with flags for the housing estate's official unveiling. It looks really well.

The rebuild of Newpark School is also going well with the main building getting a lot of work done with a new road being paved at the side of the new main building.
