    I posted a couple of times about Agger last night and think they might have come across a bit disrespectful.

    I have nothing but respect for him he is a rare commodity in football today. He was disgusted about the torres transfer and spoke out against him and gave him a nice forearm to let him know.

    He was very committed to the club on and off and a total warrior. He scored some crackers in his time too.

    Injuries have taken his toll more than we know so much so at 29 he no longer feels he can play at the top level. I applaud him for honesty that he would rather be home and happy than robbing a living on a fat contract at another club.

    Well done to the club for taking the hit and letting him follow his wishes.

    Sad to see D'agger to go, very, very classy player when on top form. He always seemed to get injured at the wrong time (is there ever a right time!).

    Hell I even named my son Daniel after him!!

    Sad to see him go, but I'm also a realist, the club needs to move on and continue rebuilding. I felt the same way when Torres, Kuyt and Suarez left. As Liverpool supporters we love our history but we need to forge ahead and make more history!!!
