It was £26-28m plus Stephen Ireland I think.

    It was £18m + Ireland

    Benzy to Arsenal maybe

He only signed a new contract a couple of weeks ago, no chance he's leaving.

The idea of signing Facao is to have two number 9s.

Yeah only seen the quotes from when he signed it there, talking about them building two senior 11s and him being happy to fight for a place

After this window is closed its fair to say David Moyes is going to feel somewhat vindicated. He really did have an utterly mediocre unbalanced squad to work with - not that he helped himself buying the Hat Stand and Mata of course but some of that can be blamed on Woodward chaotic failures.

Any premier league manager reading a self help book in public when his team is struggling, is clearly not up to it.

Everyone knew the United squad was in serious trouble, including most of their own fans. Nobody expected them to win the league. Winning it in Fergies last year was a fairly big anomaly when you examine the season as a whole.

Nobody expected Moyes to win anything.....but 7th is not good enough. He deserved the sack and if LvG performs the same, he'll get the sack too. I think he'll do better tho.

Di maria wont be the last new player in. He's doing a good job of fixing the squad. It'll just cost a lot more than it should. But that's not his fault.

As is often the case with managers, the truth was in the middle somewhere!

I would guess this has something to do with them getting rid of the big name (waged) players.

To be fair Moyes tried to get Thiago Alcantara, Cesc, Herrera after they fell through. United entered panic buy mode and woodward should have bore a large part of that responsibility.
