I filled the form today, doesn't take long. I suppose it's a handy heads up for the finance department. The pre reg asks questions about how you will pay the tuition fees and student contribution. For the student contribution you will need to select "add sponsorship" or something along those lines and include your SUSI details if applicable.

Once you have that done your fee payment form will be adjusted to reflect the information you supplied.

Figured that instead of making a new thread I might as well ask here.
I chose to pay in two installments through an EFT payment. Trouble is that I can't find the exact amount that needs to be paid right now. Does anyone have that figure - I'm assuming it's exactly half (plus the extra stuff)? I asked the academic registry but they tend to be quite slow. Thanks in advance.

It's €1473 for the first instalment according to my invoice (continuing student, with the Student Contribution, USI Fee and Sports Centre Fee). For JS students there's obviously the commencement fee as well.

If it says that on my home page that I haven't formally accepted my offer, should I wait until paying the student contribution ?

You'll get a message inviting you to register. You only need to pay when you're registering (one of the sections requires you to pay or have paid in order to complete the process). You can pay before, if you've completed the pre-registration section.

Does anyone know when they expect the fees to be paid because SUSI haven't even got back to me on whether I've been accepted or not :o

If you're registered before lectures start, that's Trinity being on time.

Don't get worried if you don't get an email soon. It's only when it's middle of Freshers week, and you've heard nothing, that you should start contacting Academic Registry.
