Yeah, ridiculous speed limit. Should be 160 at least.

If he's carrying that much water, he's likely running for distance and not speed, so I doubt he'll break the 120k limit, he'll be fine. ;)

I too was getting fed up with this ice bucket stuff, that video certainly puts it in perspective. That poor lad is very brave. Thanks.

Me bets that 90 percent of these tools throwing water over themselves aren't even donating, and are the same people moaning about water charges. Anything to follow a fad!

True but if 10 percent donate it's still better than they started with. It's not easy fund raise these days.

Tell them it's against your principals to waste water when there are thousands dying of diseases caught from drinking dirty water.

Then you're going to love the Cork Athletics (official) website...

    http://www.corkathletics.org

I remember back in transition year in 1999 we all did basic HTML classes to make simple webpages. This looks like the result from one of those classes, no messing.

Getting nominated to do this Ice Bucket malarkey, donating €10 to the IMNDA rather than doing the challenge (5 times as much as what those who do the challenge donate), and yet getting criticised for not doing it! Proof enough that most people don't give two f***s about the charity, and are only about the banter.

its about the attention whoring for alot (not all) of people,

I'd wager there's a pretty high percentage of people that haven't donated anything to any charity,

Overheard a guy in work saying he hasn't been nominated yet for this ice bucket garbage, he then proceeded to ask another guy to do it again and nominate him.

How sad and desperate is that, it took some serious will power to bite my tongue and say nothing.
