Can Joe let a caller finish a sentence without butting in to add his own wealth of knowledge to their own story?

Sad for a woman to go on air on live nationwide radio and admit that she can't think for herself.

The massacre the night of the Ireland v Italy WC 1994 match was at Loughinisland and NOT Greysteel as Joe keeps saying.
Funny the way Provo atrocities are remembered in minute detail and the Loyalist ones are forgotten about on planet RTE!

Was it all Albert today? Any insurance/depression/landlord stories at all?

When Bertie pegs it there will no doubt be someone on to Joe to say he did more for the people than anyone before or since.

Then I'll ring in and ask if she meant to say 'he did more people than anyone else'?

From a quick glance of the thread I'd like to congratulate myself for avoiding today's show, though I have to admit I did think of Joe when I was having lunch in Moloughneys in Clontarf. I'll be doing the same tomorrow (as in avoiding the thread, not lunching in Clontarf). Have fun boardsies!

Not a bad spot, however next time you are in that neck of the woods you have to give Kinara a try!

You must be joking! It'll be Albert until he's buried (including Funny Friday tomorrow, I'd nearly guarantee it).

The radio has been solid Albert all the way today apart from Derek Mooney (which is a different kind of torture) - I fear that the 6 o'clock news on the telly will be the same.

Can we rest assured that nothing else of note is happening at all, anywhere, today?

Had to turn him off today. I was driving and he was talking to Albert the Greats driver and he kept interrupting him, then he went on about the family so I turned off.
I wonder if somebody could nominate him for a nice bucket challenge. Throw him into lough Corib and leave him there.
Reynolds did a job,got paid handsomely and had a huge pension. He was also a very successful business man. He's dead now so what's the huge deal with blanket coverage for the whole day, rte trying to compete with SKY TV.
