My right hand is about to fall off from waxing the car. Done a decent job if I do say so myself. You'd wonder though, would you be best to leave things alone, especially with older cars, waxing tends to bring up the scrapes and chips etc.

Saw my first N plate on a car today. I didn't think they'd be red also.

saw one myself, Red i dont mind, i still think N is silly,

they should've adopted the UK "R" for restricted and atleast they could try and enforce the uk version here if a Uk user broke the rule and vice versa in the UK if an N user broke the rule they could be fined etc.

    but no such luck

They should have had the N in green, the red is too much like the L plate and would add to the feeling of uselessness felt after just passing your test.

I don't really get it tbh. You pass your test, you're seen to be a competent driver, give the person their dignity and let them drive as anyone else who has passed their driving test. Once you pass your test you are actually one of the safest drivers on the road, you have recently been taught how to drive properly, react to hazards, progress on the road etc, it's years later the bad habits kick in, so the whole idea kind of baffles me. Don't want to go starting a debate or anything!

Tonight the saab showed its true power, the mother took bad and had to be carted off to hospital by myself which is in naas, its about 10 miles, which i covered in less than ten minutes, I was astounded by how easily the car shot past certain triple figure speeds, taking a well deserved rest now :) the mother should be grand, being kept overnight though

How much dya think it should cost to get 2 side skirts painted and fitted and a rear diffuser fitted and a bracket of the exhaust to be welded back on that the weld had snapped off?

Barts bodyshop in Fermoy were the cheapest for me getting them on the Astra. And seeing the quality of his work I'd have no hesitation in going there. Quoted me €150 to paint and fit.

Good to hear all is OK TP, I've got my last repeat tomorrow morning that I'm 80% sure I'll fail but if it's the only one I can carry it, other than that it's onwards and upwards and soon it'll be new car time for me :D
