Toastedpickles, did you take the engine out of the 900 yourself?
Also I seen a 900 drive past me the other day. Don't see too many of them about. Once I seem it I thought of your car.

Hahaha poor lad :pac: Yeah you cant beat a proper restored car, mine will be in a driveable state as of next week hopefully, apart from the failing driveshaft tunnel which is rather serious :o it also needs a totally new exhaust, fluids, and a general health check, all connections in the right place etc, no sensors acting up, that kinda thing, i'm in two minds about the black boot on it as well

Turbo chatter! ! Pidgeon noises  :)

Edit: watch the boost too without the relevant fuel increase, don't want to start dropping pistons :)

    Ah right :)

    Where did you go man?
Over the past few weeks I've been quiet on here too. Got an s14, tried to get Pickles in it, he wouldn't but I don't blame him :), generally annoyed neighbours and then sold it. Realised I want an sr powered 86 :)

I was in Zakynthos, trying to spot turtles and gave the Jimny's locked 4WD long range gear box mode a good seeing too. Bought a map that included dirt road, roads my ass. :pac:

What is with everyone and selling S Chassis lately? D:
Any pictures before you moved it on?

Sounds like great fun man :)
I want an sr86 so she'll be replaced soon enough. Freeing up money now as we going back at the building for a while!

I put up the only pics here a while back when I got a stainless job done on it.

Haha, the decals on a street car. Flash back. :p

Can't say I wouldn't love an SR86 myself, did you see the bootercam on donedeal a few months back? Think they were asking about €10,000. Seemed a bit rich!

Ha She was no Road car ;)
I'd give about 7,000 that's what they are worth unless it has great spec or something!

Edit: actually it's insulting to think that you thought I'd drive around in that :)
    It ain't 2001 :D

166 V6 timing belt. An involved process but not overly difficult.

Until you find that one of the guide roller bolts is completely rounded.

Whoever did this I want to find them and kick the sh*te out of them. There is no excuse to sheer sloppiness with such an important part of the engine and the room available (strangely).

Now I have to waste my f*cking time trying to remove this very tight bolt

Looks right at home there alright! :D
Reminds me, must have a look on donedeal and organise to go drift car hunting with a few fellows soon. :)

And you made it sound like you drove it on the road, scaring pickles and annoying neighbours. :p
