We are an old school classic rock band covering mainly Thin Lizzy and ACDC and we are pretty good. We are based in north kildare and we are lookin for a bass player. Occasional gigs. Weekly rehearsals. Mature line up..40-50 age group. We rehearse once a week in our own studio....lookin for someone who also loves this type of music to play bass.

    Hi,

Where exactly in Co. Kildare do you rehearse and what other bands/artists do you cover ?

    Thanks.

Oops - i put this in the wrong forum. Sorry all....

Hi Rigsby....We only do ACDC and Lizzy right now.... but we're open to expanding our horizons as long as we're playing great rock music for 2 guitars. (We have added a track (called "Repo Man") from Phil Rudds new album ...i guess that hardly counts as diversifying? ;) . We've touched on ZZ Top in the past. We dabble with some NWOBHM acts (but only for warming up). We're looking for someone who'd be real fired up to play this style....Given our style of music vs what rock venues are available, we don't get to do too many gigs, but we enjoy the ones we do!
    Cheers from Maynooth!
