Going to look at a V50 today. 90000 km on it. Anything I should look out for? Any opinions in general about this model?

My wife has one, lovely car to drive nice and soild.

Few issues we found the headlights can be prone to fog up. Replace or fix. Cheap enough.

Seats can can creak it's something to do with wips system. It's needs packing with grease.

Also make sure the car starts and idles perfect and the revs don't fluctuate, ours did and sometimes cut out when changing gear.
It turned out to be the fuel pump not the cheapest repair as the pump is in the tank.

    Ours is the 1.8f flexi-fuel.

    I recently purchased a 2010 v50 1.6d stop start

Apart from the usuals as with any other car check the floor well in the passengers side sometimes can be wet due to pollen filter not being changed ( pig of a job)

bring a 10mm spanner to take the engine cover off if you want a good look at the bay
