Looking for some advice please.Had been out of work for the last 7mts and claimed illness benefits for that period, I returned to work but after 2 weeks was signed off work again with same complaint.I sent in my first cert yesterday to local social welfare office, my question is would I be able to get a emergency payment from CWO this week while I'm awaiting payment of illness benefit, which I imagine I won't receive until late next week

Ring up and ask? IB obviously doesn't pay the first 6 days, so get in touch with them and see what they say.
