anyone have any idea what to do with old brake discs?

Throw them at cars on the M50 from flyovers?

I usually put mine into the metal skip in the local recycling centre.

anyone have any idea what to do with old brake discs?

Turn them into ninja death frisbees?

Seriously though, I'd say a recycling centre

Not a best looking clock tbh.

If I had a garage that could be an option. Don't know a woman who would accept it inside the house, though.

That was absolutely insane, the spray from the car in front was like a powerhouse on the windscreen.

Some drivers seemed oblivious to it though.

Just posted this on the dash cam thread,

Rain is hardest from 1min in,
At 3:30 a pretty reckless driver hits a large flood of standing water.

Visibility is nearly better on camera than it was from drivers seat.
Doesn't seem to slow people down though..

A few years back when they were resurfacing the M50 I got caught out in a similar downpour, and again there was guys passing at high speed, that time a car in overtaking lane hit standing water at speed and swamped my windscreen for about two seconds, which is a long enough time to be totally blinded.

Wouldn't you think they'd use the two smaller holes as the 3 and 9 holes instead of making a balls of it with the other two holes?

Still a nice idea all the same!

I think the clock looks class...although I don't think it'd work as well with standard disks.

I've seen some Hard Disk clocks before that were pretty neat, I think they were on sale on etsy.com

If you could convince someone you took them off Kimi Räikkönen's daily driver then you might have a market.

46.3 mpg on my 42mile commute to work this morning, not bad for a 1.6 petrol turbo :D

That's where the disc holder screws were, not holes they drilled themselves.

Ya I know that but if they used them two existing holes and just drilled them bigger, it would look better.

So I'm cleaning up this V6 box diff housing. From a sh*te gearbox. Where part of the diff was stuck in the housing from when it broke

Took a whiff of the remaining oil. Smells of rotten chicken and cat pee  I nearly gagged!!!

Would this weather make its mind up, I have an axle to install....

Yep, was very surprised to hear that.
Saw an interesting movie of his a while back, One Hour Photo.
Very different to what he had become known for.

    One Hour Photo.
I've never seen that one. I like some of his stuff but his later movies grate heavily on my nerves. Still, a sad loss none the less.

Was only the last day of school we watched the Dead Poets Society. Wasn't my cup of tea, but he was a great actor, especially in Mrs Doubtfire!

Just saw that and I have to say I was shocked.

SO many of his films are part of my childhood - Aladdin, Mrs Doubtfire, Hook, Jack etc. One Hour Photo was a creepy but class film.

    RIP :(
