when asked to consolidate in exam

    Say there are 3 companies involved parent and two subsidiaries.

    do we need column for each the whole way down like the solutions. or will just the draft for the parent and adjustments and Final column do??

    Essentially is it just the final consolidated figure thats required?

    If anyone knows quick be great,,, exam tomorrow.. :-)

    You just need to have one column for group account ... you can do simple working in brackets and more complex working in working notes and then cross reference them in your final accounts.
